MINUTES

NOVEMBER 13, 2006

The meeting was called to order by Pat Pochert at 9:00 a.m.  Those present were Keith Pochert, Brenda Sallee, Dorothy George, Cindy Hopfensperger, Jerriann Nielsen and Judi McBride.  Stephanie Stone was present and advised us of the POA policies regarding t-times and the golf schedule for 2007.

Brenda Sallee presented a list of games to play for individual couples and for foursomes to all members present.  A schedule was also presented which will be used to fill in courses and the event games that will be played each month.

An agenda was presented on several points which were discussed and voted upon. 

            How Couples Golf began, Couples 9- hole afternoon scrambles

Meeting and phone call with Director of Golf John Paul – received go ahead with project

            Name of group – HSV Couples 18-Hole Golf Group

            Sign-up as a particular pair and play together throughout the season

            Handicaps - Limit handicap indexes to relate to a maximum of a 36 handicap

            Cost to join - $50 a couple

            Number of members and tee time limits – 100 members

            Pairings software – TPP program

            Membership booklets – send out list via e-mail to members

            Distribute prize money at end of season

            Championship event

Rules – play ball up may move 6”, give 12” putts, rock areas will be treated as ground under repair, closest relief no closer to the hole

            Organization – minimum structure

A nomination was made by Brenda Sallee and seconded by Dorothy George to make Pat Pochert President.  A vote was taken by those present in favor.  The other officers were nominated, seconded and elected as follows:

            Vice President – Dorothy George

            Secretary – Brenda Sallee

            Treasurer – Keith Pochert

The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 a.m.
